Natural Suri Alpaca Fiber, carefully skirted, then washed, ready to be carded for spinning into yarn, blended with other fibers, or spun right from the locks for a textured art yarn. Suri Fiber is wonderful as embellishment in needle and wet felting projects, can be woven with, decorated with, even knit or crocheted.
This is the prime fiber grown by a suri alpaca male named "Kate", 10 years old at the time of shearing Not as soft as it once was, this fiber is best suited for art yarn, felting, and craft projects. Her light fawn and white fiber has been over-dyed with Indigo, a Gaywool dye color. The locks average approximately 4", meaning there may be some fiber shorter than this and some longer.
