Hand-Dyed Suri Fiber, carefully skirted, hand dyed with Gaywool Dye color called Musk, rinsed, and laid in the sun to dry, ready to be carded for spinning, blended with other fibers, or spun right from the locks for a textured art yarn. Suri fiber is wonderful as embellishment in needle felting and craft projects, as inlays for nuno felting, can be woven with, even knit or crocheted. Longer lengths make great doll hair.
This is the prime fiber grown by a beautiful suri female alpaca named Serenity. Locks average approximately 5.5" in length. Serenity is white with streaks of fawn throughout her fleece which has been over-dyed creating very pretty light and dark shades throughout the dyed fiber. Her fiber is beautiful and these locks are VERY soft and silky!
Each package contains 2 ounces of fiber.
